Where to Stay in Moclín
We, personally, have received an unprecedented number of enquiries and reservations since the first episode of ‘Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job’ was aired on BBC One on 24th January. Esperanza 9 is almost completely full until the end of October 2025 and we are now taking reservations for Autumn/Winter 2025/26 and into 2026. Casa Higueras, too, is fully booked until July and then only limited availability until the end of October.
We have seen a huge increase in visitors looking to buy houses in the area, and many more people wanting to spend a day or two enjoying everything that the municipality has to offer. Some statistics from our own websites for the past 30 days from 18th February:

Page views - 87,000
Two South of Granada

As we have so much traffic passing through our websites, it seems sensible that we try and share all this activity with accommodation providers across the municipality. If you are looking to stay in one of the villages of the municipality of Moclín, then we hope this resource will be useful. It is a definitive list of all the different types of accommodation to be found in the seven villages: Moclín, Tiena, Olivares, Puerto Lope, Tózar, Limones, Gumiel.
Please note: we are not an agent or representative for any of these properties (except our own!). You will need to contact each accommodation provider independently. This is just a guide of places to stay in the municipality of Moclín.

The municipality of Moclín is in a rural part of Granada Province and public transport is limited. There are bus services that link the villages to Granada and Alcalá la Real: https://ayuntamientodemoclin.com/servicios-al-ciudadano/horario-autobuses/
For visitors, we would always recommend hiring a car to make the most of your visit to this area, and we do have an affiliation with Malagacar at Málaga Airport.
