I am not quite sure where November went, but here we are rapidly facing down our second Christmas living in Spain...
It's that time of year again for the annual Saleres Fiesta and this time we were a bit more prepared and so, it seems, was the village...
We are delighted to report that we have enjoyed another tapas tour with the delightful Gayle Mackie who founded and runs Granada Tapas Tours. We joined Gayle to revisit some more ‘traditional’ bars that she has not been back to for a year or so, so it was something of a joint adventure...
It has been a very busy September. We have, for most of the month, had a fairly full house with guests and as a result we have sort of found ourselves hurtling towards October. Sunday was Andrew’s Birthday, and it is probably fair to say that we both felt a little bit jaded on that morning. We didn’t drink that much, but the effects are amplified in the heat unless alcohol is accompanied by litres of water!
An important ingredient is missing from this account. This weekend in Madrid also happened to coincide with Andrew's 42nd Birthday (I know; he's very old)...
